Abstract

This paper presents the results of research on improving some machine parts on the RC701 spinning machine (Marzoli - Italy) to spin core spun yarn. The article solved a number of problems when putting the elastic yarn feeder into the machine, finding solutions to avoid slippage, adjusting the output position of the elastic yarn, adjusting the input position of the roving yarn to the drafting system, assembling (some) additional machine parts such as: elastic yarn holder, elastic yarn bobbin separator, elastic yarn break alarm, transmission for elastic yarn unwinding mechanism. After that, the improver was installed on the RC701 spinning machine to spin core spun yarn.
