Abstract

Ball Cam mechanism is a mechanism that is widely used in machinery manufacturing. When working, the rotation parts of the mechanism generates vibrations and noise at different frequency ranges. These vibrations affect the working ability and durability of the mechanism. Therefore, when designing and manufacturing cam mechanisms, it is necessary to pay attention to their vibration to improve their working ability. This article proposes the design of a vibration measurement model for two-groove ball cam and four-groove ball cam mechanisms. The results obtained through vibration measuring devices and analysis and evaluation indicate that the vibration of the four-groove ball Cam mechanism is smaller than that of the two-groove ball Cam mechanism. The results of the article are the basis for designers to improve designs in the field of ball Cam.
