RESEARCH ON THE FIT OF DRESS WITH WAISLINE SEAM FOR WOMEN AGED 25-35 ON OPITEX SOFTWARE
Abstract
One of the important factors that creates confidence and comfort for the wearer is the fit of the garment. With the traditional method, the assessment of the fit of the garment almost uses the method. sewing samples and testing on real objects through experts to comment, evaluate, etc. However, this method is time consuming and expensive, even difficult to communicate with customers and partners. The article presents a method to evaluate the fit of women’s clothing, especially one-piece skirts, by using a 3D virtual test model. The dress model is designed on 2D software and then put into the Opitex software and sewn around the virtual body to evaluate the fit of the model without having to sew directly and also tested directly on the real object. to assess the fit of the dress model.
