MOBILE AGENT APPLICATION FOR IMPROVING DSR ROUTING PROTOCOL PERFORMANCE IN MANET
Abstract
Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a special wireless network, with the advantage of being able to operate independently, independent of fixed network infrastructure, low cost, fast deployment and high mobility with protocols such as AODV, DSR, WCETT…. In this paper, the research team uses a mobile agent (Agent) to move from one network node to another to control the DSR routing protocol in the network to improve the performance of MANET. The research team evaluated the effectiveness of the application of agent technology in the DSR protocol on NS2 simulation software version 2.34. The experimental results show that the application of mobile agent technology helps to improve MANET network performance.
