RESEARCH ON DRYING CORN IN A TOWER DRYER
Abstract
On the basis of the study of heat transfer in corn kernels in the dryer, the paper presents a differential equation describing moisture transfer from corn to the outside environment and boundary conditions. To solve this problem, the paper introduces the grid method (approximate solution) and analytical method (exact solution) and compares the obtained results. These results willhave an important role for the design and manufacture of dryers.
